HOW IT ALL BEGAN
We’re two best friends who found ourselves endlessly searching for a bridesmaid dress that felt just right - something beautiful, comfortable, and attainable. When we couldn’t find it, we decided to create it.
After months of research, sketches, and fittings, Amei was born, a name that combines the words for “sister” in Sinhalese and Chinese, a tribute to our roots and to the women who inspire us.
At the heart of Amei is friendship; it’s where every design begins.
We want every bridesmaid to feel as radiant and confident, and every dress to celebrate the joy of being part of something truly special.
